Class Rules

Following the rules will enable us to have a positive and effective learning
environment:
  
            1.  Be polite and helpful.

            2. Follow all directions.

            3. Respect people and property.

            4. Raise your hand and wait your turn to speak.
            5.  Keep body and objects to yourself

Throughout the school year, there will be various rewards for their behavior.
The rewards may include stickers, candy, stamps, school supplies, "Smarties", etc. 
We will also celebrate as a class with whole group rewards.

The below addresses the standards for consequences of a child's misbehavior:

1st Time: Warning - the teacher and student will discuss the negative choice 
of the behavior that was displayed.

2nd Time: Discussion and their APPLE is moved to red. A note is
written discussing their behavior today. The note is sent home requiring
parent/guardian's signature. The student will lose 5 minutes of recess time. 

3rd Time: Discussion and their APPLE is moved to blue. A note is written
discussing the behavior today. The note is sent home requiring parent/guardian
signature. The student will lose 10 minutes of recess. 

Aggressive behavior may result in immediate consequence to 3rd warning, and/or
referral to the office.
