Fun-work
Week of: April 13th – 17th
**Every night practice:
- Read new reading books – 1/week (remember to return books daily in bags J)
- Continue practicing sight words and flash cards.
- Sight word test and sentence dictation on: after, many, which We can meet after lunch.
- Memory verse (test Friday): “And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this”. Esther 4:14
Monday: No School: Easter travel day
Tuesday: Practice writing sight words and sentence (blue page). Recite your memory verse.
Wednesday: Practice the memory verse and sight words.
Thursday: Practice writing sight words and sentence (blue page). Recite your memory verse.
Friday: Return fun-work to class and be prepared for the test on sight words and the memory verse.
"Mrs. Saltzman's Funwork" will be sent home weekly in your child's folder on Monday and need to be returned on Fridays. Please check your child's folder nightly as there will be notes coming home informing you of the latest in and around the classroom. This is also the easiest way for you, as a parent, to send me a note or keep in touch with me as well. Because I am not sitting at my desk throughout the day, I typically do not check my email until after school, before school (if time allows), or in the evening at home. I have found this to be the best way to keep one another informed throughout the year. Stay tuned for the funwork packets to come home in your child's folder on the "Bring Back" side.
